Surely just a careless bit of proofreading on someone's part.

BTW, Dan's on his own blog: www.simpsoncity.com/hiking
I post a lot on his blog (initially under "siteblogger," more recently as "Skyhiker" because he goes to a lot of places I've been to.SkyHikerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12149622862975962200noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7224556886142717176.post-27701979754815796252012-03-04T19:55:06.946-08:002012-03-04T19:55:06.946-08:00Hi Dan,

When I hiked on the other side (out of Vasquez Rocks), the mountains all looked pretty barren from that end, too.

Inspiration Point lets you get right up to the rim of the burn area. That's the only hike I know of that you can "legally" get close to the burn area. Last time I was there, it was still winter. I'll have to do that hike again.SkyHikerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12149622862975962200noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7224556886142717176.post-29310936163133379862010-03-31T16:24:12.033-07:002010-03-31T16:24:12.033-07:00Could you see any evidence of plant re-growth in t...Could you see any evidence of plant re-growth in the burn area?
