There was a story in the SGV Tribune about hikers that were helicoptered off the "Fox Peak Trail," in the Angeles National Forest, yesterday.
I've never heard of Fox Peak or a Fox Peak trail. When I googled the terms, I still didn't find any info. Anyone ever hear of this trail? It's reported to be above Duarte. I suppose it could be something garbled in the translation. Maybe they said "Fish Creek," and the deputy heard "Fox Peak"?

I haven't heard of Fox Peak either. Maybe they will correct it in their publication. On 6/6 I was hiking up to Tahquitz Peak near Idllwild. The temperature reached in the mid to upper 80's.
